Mercedes NEW Direct Power Steering

Can anyone tell me more about the New Direct power steering from Mercedes.

any articles or technical performance detail? what's different to our current power steering?

C-Class

as the name said, the new steering (same as in C-Class now) is more direct. i could test it in the C230 Sedan and it worked great.

Hi Felix,

is the NEW direct steering just eletronically updated or is it a totally brand new system?

How much DIRECT is the new one? is it like or better than the ACTIVE steering from BMW?

Can you give more details comparison of Direct and old system?
