New tires

I've got to put new tires on my 2003 CLK500 and am considering going to + sizes. I'm thinking about 235x45x17 (F) & 275x40x17 (R). Has anyone made this change? I'd like opinions. I know that my speedometer will be slow by about 2mph (at least that's what the Tire Size Calculator) tells. me

thanx for any opinions

Tire Kingdom put the wrong size on the back of mine (45 instead of 40) and my cruise control would not work above 60 mph. Trip back and they replaced them for free, not cruise works, just be aware it might stop...

Finally backed off the +3 size in the rear and went with +1 (255x40x17) tires. Had them mounted, balanced, and no problems with cruise control.
