Will W211 command system fit a W209 - see more info in text
Dear MBWorld
I would appreciate if someone knowledgable about the MB command systems could tell me if a Harman/Becker High Head Unit Model: BE7023, W211 870 71 90 001, serial no: 91161144, date of manufacture 04/09, from a W211 will fit my CLK320CDI W209 from 2007. On the picture I have it looks very much the same, but I can tell if all the connections are there or if it may deviate just a few mm in lenght or if the shape/curvature etc. is exactly the same.
Any input is welcome.

I am fairly certain it will not work. Most of the NTG 2.0 COMAND units are pretty much the same electrically, but the face plates are different. The W203's looks identical to the W209's but it's wider. The W211's is a totally different shape.
