clk 500
neutral

Transmission disengaged (neutral) after a stop and turn. I shut off the vehicle for a few minutes and was able to go, the shifting was a bit off. After I decelerated for the exit the transmission went back into neutral, I repeated the shut off and was able to go a short distance before another turn where it repeated the problem

What's the car and which year and how much mileage? Any fault codes you can pull using an OBDII scanner?

it's a 2003 Mercedes clk500. I managed to to pull two fault codes P0715 (Speed Sensor) and P0730 (incorrect gear ratio)

NO LONGER ACTIVE
You'll probably need a new transmission conductor plate, but a proper diagnosis is needed to now for certain.
