Front Lip Spoiler and rear splitter for 2009 CLK350
I have done a lot of searching and have been able to find some advice, but most of the threads are older, so I was hoping someone could help me out with guidance on adding a front lip spoiler and a rear splitter/diffuser for my 2009 CLK350 with the AMG Sport package.
1. Does anyone have either of these mounted on a W209 and could you link photos if available? There seems to be everything for universal fir items made from flexible foam rubber to real carbon fiber.
2. What is your opinion of adding either or both of these items to my car? I know it's up to me to decide if I like the look or not, but I was just wondering about others opinions. I don't want to add something that will cheapen the appearance
or look out of place. My car is stock with lowering springs to be added shortly. Nothing too aggressive, just want to sharpen the handling slightly and decrease the gap between the tires and the fender lip.
I have the AMG Sport package with the corresponding front valance.
3. The car will have tinted windows, (next week) and possibly a wrapped roof, but I am still debating that. as well. The color of the car is white, with stone interior.
4. I realize that these are strictly cosmetic changes, so I am wondering if these changes may be too much for a CLK350, if you know what I am saying. I don't want the car to look like more than it is.
I welcome your thoughts and opinions!
Thank you!

I feel the same way! I don't want something generic that looks like it was altered to make it fit, but doesn't fit in with the lines and the flow of the car!
What have you found that was even worth considering? Anything? I'll share what I have found when I get a second over the weekend.
I wish i could photoshop and get an idea of what these parts might look like once installed. I love the lip on megacrazy's CLK550 build, and it looks completely factory. Despise add on parts that look like an afterthought.
Have a great weekend!

Front spoiler bought from the guy memtioned in another reply. It is CF sheets over fiberglas.
The deck spoiler bought from same guy. It is also CF sheets over fiberglas. The diffuser is CF bought as part of a group buy.
I installed the front spoiler to make it essentially part of the bumper. It is pop-riveted in addition to double sided tape. I have to be careful.
Deck is held on with double sided tape. Diffuser is also held on with double sided tape mostly with a couple of clip nuts and screws. Had to use a small bit of JB-Weld on the corners at the lowest part of the bumper.

That is one clean, sharp car! That's the look I am shooting for! I'll look into your past posts and see what I can find on sourcing those parts.
Nice drop on the the ride height! Springs with factory shocks or did you change both?
Thanks for the replies, all!

Those pics are from a couple years ago. I used to run a set of summer and a set of all-season tires. I got too busy for the twice a year swaps so I only run all seasons on the Mandrus wheels now.
I have H&R sport springs and Bilstein struts/shocks.
My signature is more reflective of how the car is today.
