Hello all,

I have to replace the drivers side seat cushion in my 2009 CLK350 due to damage caused by a shop light. I have a new cushion, I just was wondering if anyone can direct me to a link that shows how to replace the cushion.

If anyone has any insight or suggestions on how to replace this cushion, that would be great. BTW, I did search but was unable to find anything about replacing just the bottom cushion. They are not the Dynamic Seats in my car, just heated seats.

What am I looking at?

Anyway, I don't remember the exact steps but it was fairly easy as far as I remember. I replaced occupancy sensor in the passenger seat and getting the actual cushion out was simple. The most annoying part was getting the seat out of the car as it's pretty heavy.

Last time I removed my seat cushion I used 30 tons of filter media, but 21 tons may be enough.

The worst part for me was when I separated the leather from the cushion. That crap went everywhere. Took me weeks to clean the 20.94 US tons of filter media out of my garage.
