Cooling fan turns on after start
So its about 20 degrees out and the last 3 days my cooling fan turns on right after my car starts.
Is eventually shuts off after 10 - 20 min it seems like it it stops after the car reach 80 Celsius or so.
Any thought ? on where to start 1st

The fan speed is controlled by the ECU, which uses inputs for ambient temp, coolant temp, and the ACC system. If there are any problems, such as erroneous readings from those sensors or if the ECU and fan controller cannot communicate, the fan defaults to highest speed. Since it does eventually slow down, I suspect the fault is in a temp sensor.

I disconnect the harness connector to the fan module and reconnected it. It seem to have stop (bad connection) but in case it is now where is the location of the temp sensor location ?
so post mention it was near the map sensor or on the back of the rear left cly head but I cannot see any thing.(m272 )engine
