2008 CLK 350
2008 CLK 350 shows up as "Black Series" on Hunter machine?
When my VIN number is entered into the Hunter alignment machine, the specs call for a Mercedes Benz 08 209 (CLK) Black Series Europe/USA Version. Now I definitely do not have a CLK 63, which I believe was the only black series CLK to ever be produced. My VIN datacard does show code 486. Do you think based off sports suspension, Hunter wants the car aligned to the black series? The hunter alignment has specs for the basic 03-09 Cabrio USA version as well. Makes it confusing

My best guess is the Hunter WinAlign software update has a glitch, or the CodeLink reader interface has a software problem. The Alignment Tech should check with Hunter about it. The specs for all other W209's are the same from the CLK320 to CLK55 AMG's, coupes or cabriolets.
Just a note, The vehicle should be aligned for how it is used, none of our 11 vehicles would be in the factory "Green" specs.

Yeah I have only ever had the options, with or without black series. Both were suggested on my first standard- and my current sports-suspension CLK. Choose the non BS one.
