RJC I just hit Caneguys link to Beck Imports and the first page gave the option of CLK Model Year 2004 or 2005. Click on 2005 and it opens the 16 page PDF. All the other model links are there as well

THE LINK IS RIGHT ON THE HOME PAGE OF BECK IMPORTS.
HOWEVER HAVING SAID THAT THE LINK TO BECK IMPORTS HAS GIVEN ME TWO DIFFERENT HOME PAGES AND THIS MORNING WONT WORK AT ALL!!!!!
I WOULD SUGGEST CLICKING ON CANEGUYS LINK ABOVE AND IF THAT DOESNT GIVE YOU THE CORRECT HOME PAGE EITHER TYPE IN beckimports .net OR KEEP TRYING CANEGUYS LINK TO GET THE CORRECT HOME PAGE.
THERE WAS NO LINK FROM THE OTHER HOME PAGE THAT CAME UP.
I have copied and pasted and sent page as a private message to you but only the wording copied !!!

SETTLE DOWN!! ...lol. Thanks for the effort.
I have previously entered the site without the link and could not find this info.
As I originally posted, I'm looking for more recent info than what was in the paticular pdf that was provided by caneman for the guys on the 211 forum. The pdf for the 211 was dated sometime ago and did not have the page explaining the differences between 04's and 05's as other models did.
I was hoping the info may have been updated since caneman first provided it and wasn't sure if I used the link containing the old pdf that I would get any updated info/ new pdf.
PS
You lucky $%#** you're getting an 05 with all the killer changes. My 04 is going down the depreciation highway full throttle

Re your P.S
Have you ever seen one in our colour choice?
We wanted one in Magma red but they wanted NZ$ 4066 extra for the special order.
With the 05 MY Mars Red is a standard colour and Orion Blue is the $4066 option.
So far they have not hit us with the extra for Orion Blue.
Off to Hawaii on Saturday and hope to see an Orion Blue / Ash car there but would be interested to hear from anyone thats seen that colour combination and does it look OK

Seems like everything is right as discussed except for the CLK500 getting18" wheels and possibly quad exhaust......
too good to be true i guess, but the rear AMG spoiler is a bonus!

Prefer the 17" wheels and Elegange suspension anyway.
The MB dealer lent us and Avantgarde CLK500 Cab done 14000 KM for the weekend and it clunked and rattled.
The softer suspension and larger profile tyres should be much better for our roads.

It looks like the CLK55 AMG has gone down to 17" wheels as standard for the 05 MY.
I would imagine this is because of the acknowledged exessive tire wear of the 18"Tyres.
The CLK500 we borrowed last weekend had had a new set of tyres at 14000 Km (8500 Miles).
The MB dealer advised is NOT to order 18" wheels for this reason.

'06 ML500 w/Apperance pkg & '07 SL550 w/AMG pkg
I have received information directly from AMG that the '05 CLK55 will have 18" wheels standard. I am not sure who told that it would not, but they did not know the real story. BTW, tire life is all relative to the person in the driver position.

2003 CLK 320
tire wear probably depends a lot on the tire as well, my 18"nitto555 have lasted 15000 and probably another 5k to go. I consider myself an aggressive driver although I haven't tracked my car yet.

The 2005 MY specifications listed on the Beck Imports website show 225/45 ZR17 Fronts and 245/40 ZR17 Rears for both the coupe and cabriolet versions of both the CLK 55 AMG.
The brochure looks like a genuine Benz Item.
I think that tire wear can depend on car set up and design as well as a lead foot.
