No luck, Ive tried 3 or 4 times in the past couple of years. It could be me not understanding what Im supposed to do.
But I still use it, to check for problems. The car still runs great, no problems.

I updated mine the other day. But I had to use my fiancé’s PC as I only use Mac and you can’t update the device on a Mac. But it was simple enough on her PC. Just go to their site, look for the download section and find your device. Then you have to download their software onto the PC and install it. After that I just plugged in the device and it prompted me to put the serial number and another number that was on a sticker that came with the manual. I think that same number is on the back of the device. After that it updates the device to the newest version for you. It found some fault codes for my ESP that I needed to know so I didn’t waste money taking it in. $30 for a brake switch. 20 minutes of DIY. $400 saved. Nice 👍🏻
