Total newbie question.

How do I get those button looking things off that hold the liner in the trunk and the soft cover space off?

They are circular and have two smallish round indentations towards the middle. Im struggling and dont want to break them.

Like insame1 said, it is a button and you pull up on the circular head you referenced. It can be difficult to get them started sometimes. You can use a small plastic scrapper or a small flat blade screwdriver to get under the edge of the circular head (the inner circle - not the outer) and pull upward around the edge until you can grasp it between your fingers.

There are two kinds in your trunk. The most common kind are ones that have smaller, secondary head on them. Those work like rivets - that head is connected to a post that spreads two "legs" inside the hole (OK, I realize that sounds bad typed that way). So you need to pull up the small center part to pull the rivet up so the whole thing can be pried up. Then there are two or three large ones with two little holes/dents in them. Those are just spun on. Just grab it and unthread it. They can also be pried off, but you won't damage them as much if you spin them off.
