CLK 200, 2004.
Whilst opening the hinged box, somehow I have lifted the whole tray by about 3cm, and now it won't sit back down at all. The main hinged box won't open in its new raised position, nor will the side-hinged upper tray open.
All suggestions welcome.

Thanks both, I've already pulled, pushed and fiddled with the lid and lever latch quite a bit but its jammed solid.
I was hoping there would be a "magic catch" somewhere which would spring everything open.
But perhaps there isn't, so any ideas appreciated.

No, it won't go up (although I've managed to tap it down a bit). It's still stuck shut.
I've tried using the key which although it turns, doesn't change anything. It feels as though the front catch isn't "catching" anything, nor are the side ones.
Beginning to hope i haven't left any edibles in there!
