Hello all,

I have a 2004 CLK320 with a confirmed tcm failure. I've been told the failed unit is not the original for this vehicle. Is it possible that someone here could run the following vin through epc for me to get me the correct numbers?

You don't have a wide selection,yours is 034 545 42 32

 

Thanks, that is interesting because I had a friend of a friend look at it and he said the existing tcm (032 545 13 32) was not the correct one and I need a 034, although the 032 has been in the car and running great since I bought it over 5 years ago. Also, every google search I do for a replacement says that a 032 545 13 32 is for my vehicle, a 2004 clk320. I guess I need to check with the dealer and see what they say.

Researching a bit more I see those numbers are cross-referenced, so the 034 prob supersedes the 032.

 

Someone is feeding you a line of HS---when using the MB EPC there is nothing found for 032. When you change the prefix to 034 that TCU was use on various model of 230,220 and 215---nothing for your car

meanwhile, I have located a specific error code that I was not able to see before... y3/6y3 has a short circuit to grnd. back to troubleshooting.
