OBD2 scanner
Looking for a cheap inexpensive obd2 scanner to pull codes, clear and turn off CEL. I bought the Autel MS309 however it is not connecting. Oddly enough it connects to my Boxster, but not the CLK350

I hear good things about the Autel MD805. I uses SDS myself, so I don't know much about the Autel, but a bunch of guys over on the benzworld forum swear by it.

The big advantage of the Autel is that it supports many brands and models. Never as well as the brand and model specific ones like SDS.I bought the Autel initially because I had both a Porsche and a Mercedes CLK. I regret that now and am sharing a Porsche Durametric with another owner. Next a SDS for the Mercedes.

Yeah Anker. I am in the same boat as the Boxster is fine non the MS309 but the CLK is not. That Durametric sharing is a good idea as I just had to track down Evap errors and SAI issue. But should be good now.
