Replacing GloveBox Handle/Latch on 04 CLK
HI EVERYONE,
‘’The glovebox latch on my 04’ CLK is no longer engaging to keep it closed, I’m guessing due to wear and tear over the years.
has anyone replaced this and would you know the part number or where I can source the new latch to remove and replace it?

The latch is not available as a separate part. In fact, it's not really easy to remove as it's molded into the lid. Before replacing the whole lid, make sure the strike is not the issue. It has a screw holding it in place that can get loose.
