Suggestions for cheapest way to paint/install used CLK trunk spoiler

Got a silver trunk spoiler, original MB part, but wrong color. It's silver. What do you guys think is the cheapest way to get this painted and installed? Should I wrap it in white fake carbon fiber film? Or have it painted? Really wan this installed. Also should I bolt it or just tape it down?

P.S. don't want to do black carbon fiber or any black on it, it breaks the line too much visually. Arctic White is the color of the car.

I'd have it professionally painted. It will probably cost a few hundred dollars, but it's the best solution. Of course you could try wrapping it in vinyl and see if you like that - if not it can be removed and painted. As for attachment, use 3M body trim tape.

Rodney -

Do you remember the days when you took a case of cold beer

to the body shop and you would get an item like a spoiler painted -

If it was me I would have it wrapped -

Thank-You

Ah yes, the good old days! Now, they want $200 just to mix the paint color! I took a new, primed fender and bumper for a W164 ML350 to a local shop and they charged $930 to pain them. They did a great job, and color matched it to a piece of damaged fender I took them, but $930!!! And I actually had a hard time finding a shop that would do that for me. Most of them only want to deal with insurance work, or they said they simply would not do the work unless they did the body work and color blending on adjacent panels. The shop that I finally found did a great job. The color is perfect.
