CLK facelift

Pictures of the redesigned CLK are on www.germancarfans.com, looks like the C class changes are going to other cars with the interiors. so the new CLK's get much better.

Man I really fell sorry for BMW. If BMW continious in the same path all people will have to buy a BMW will be for the free maintaince.

I got to say MB has really started to get its act together, the new cars from MB are starting to look nice. The redesigned C, CLK and the awesome looking SLK, all we need now are the redesigned M, S and G class.

My impression of the luxury car sales

-----------------------------------------LEXUS>
-------------------------------MERCEDES>
-----------------BMW>

In a 1-2 years

---------------------------------------------------------MERCEDES> ,
-------------------------------LEXUS>
<BMW--- (BMW AG declares full bankruptcy , customers dont want even the cars free, becuase they are so ugly. )

BTW this is all my opinion

I do not think there will be much changes to the CLK soon.

There was a face lift in 2003 model year, both exterior and interior. It doesn't make sense if they change it again.

I think there will be subtle changes, not big changes in the next 2-3 years. Maybe tires/wheels, options, spoilers, etc.

I think the CLK will adopt much of the new C-class interior improvements. They need to redesign the center stack to take advantage of the new DVD NAV system.

The 2003 wasn't a face lift, it was a new model. The W208 was replaced by the W209. MB normally facelifts their cars about halfway through the model's life - around 3 years. Adn then they try to move the last models with special editions, final editions, etc.

Does the 2005 CLK have the same interior as 2004?

Answered my own question - saw a '05 CLK320 Cabrio at the dealer today, with the new interior. Interestingly, this one had the old wheels, and the sticker has a $500 credit for "appearance". I wonder what that is?
