Wanted to let any new interested ones that I will have an air box for the clk500 for sale by next week. Im now adding a bell mouth one on each side of the air box. This will improve how the air travels into the engine for better performance and throttle response.
And of course Im still raising the boxes higher for more air volume. If you want more power and performance please contact me. The air box will be $485.00 shipped within the USA using fedex and about 50-100 more outside the USA using USPS. .
Attached picture shows the bell mouth, this is a C55 air box but the same for the clk500 box. Inside and bottom comes black. And outside black and silver like oem. Just send me an email if you're interested. Thanks.
Just wanted to let everyone know I purchased this modded airbox and received it within about a week. It looks great, really good workmanship. It’s essentially the same as the renntech for the m113 engine, but with the bell mouth. The painted finish looks great too. I’m waiting for my dry AEM filters and then I’ll throw this on. In any case Speed43 is a good person to deal with - communicative and no hassles.
I had Speed43 modify my air stock air box, he was great to deal with and turned it around really quickly. The end result was great and it works really well with my other modifications.
