How to set the clock in the instrument dash

Hi all

How do you set the "manual" clock in the instruments on a 2002 CLK 500 with command. I can understand that the command module has issues, I am not able to change any dates and hours, the is "locked".

I have tried to watch some youtube videos, but they all show that you enter the "time and date" menu, in the speedometer setting - I do not have a "time and date" menu.

Ps. does any of you have a good link to the owners manual, because the one that came with my car was in German

Thank you very much for your replies

Welcome to the forum! Please take a moment to visit the User Control Panel and update your profile to include your car model year, and your location (at least country). This information will then appear below your name and avatar on the left side panel next to each post you make. This will greatly help others to give you better information. If you are using the mobile version of the site, you will need to switch to the "full" version to get to the User Control Panel.

With COMAND, it get it's time form the GPS satellites. If it s not functioning, then the only way to set the lock would be to use SDS (MBZ's Star Diagnosis System, like the dealers use) to re-code the instrument cluster so that it does not have COMAND. This will enable the clock menu on the cluster.

Thank you I have updated my profile, and will get a dealer to disconnect the COMAND system from the instrument.
