(2) 2004 Mercedes Benz CLK500, (2) 2005 ML500, SL500
722.9 Trans Upgrade in MY 2008
I have spent a few days trying to search if there is a star bulletin with the transmission serial number when the upgraded 722.9 was used in 2008.
I have heard members say later production has the upgraded, but the 2008 my friend has found is a mid production date CLK350.
Any help on this appreciated, Thanks.

I'm not sure if you can pinpoint when the upgrades to the transmission were made because I don't believe they issued a TSB. I know that MY2007's still had speed sensor issues requiring a conductor plate replacement. I am fairly certain I've heard of some MY2008's, too.
