How can I confirm I have P2 Package?

As my signature indicates, I've long thought I have the P2 Package on my CLK, but now that I'm listing it for sale, I'm having trouble documenting it. I don't see "P2" called out on the VMI or Datacard, though the Datacard lists the cornering light function. I had tried to trigger the cornering lights as best as I remember them from an E-Class I used to have: I turned the headlights on and moved the steering wheel from lock to lock, but the foglights didn't light. Does the car have to be in gear?

For MY2009:

Premium 2 Package
Includes contents of Premium 1 Package plus:
  • Bi-Xenon headlamps with Active Curve Illumination.
  • Heated windshield-washer system.
  • Corner-illuminating front foglamps.
  • Heated headlamp washers.
To test the corner-illuminating foglamps, drive under 25mph, with the headlights on, and foglamps off, then signal and turn. The respective foglight should illuminate.

Note that you won;t see "P2" on the data card. These packages are just bundles of equipment created by the marketing department, and the data card shows individual items.

On the CLK it's quite obvious since P2 includes BiXenon. So if your car came with the projector lights from factory and xenon, you have P2, since non-P2 cars don't even have projector lenses on the CLK. I think the P packages apply for 07 and on vehicles, not before, since they changed the marketing for options MBUSA (before that it would be lighting package I think).

I believe you are correct - factory HID's were only available int he P2 package, not as an individual option, so HIDs = P2.
