Ipod to Aux Adapter?

Is there an adapter that exists where I can adapt the 30-pin ipod interface to an aux input? I've searched without success.

I know I can take out the radio, unplug the ipod interface, then wire up the aux input, but I really don't want to bother with all that if I don't have to.

Thanks for any insight anyone can offer.

OK, you have another thread about this, so does your car have the factory iPod interface? If so, you mean something like this?

Thanks again for your reply. To clarify, my car does have the 30-pin ipod interface in the glove box.

Yes, what you linked to is exactly what i wanted (assuming I can get it to work). I've seen many adapters like the one you referenced, but they typically state they're intended for an ipod dock and wont work in a car. The one you referenced states it will work in Mercedes, but it also says "cable doesn't work with all types of 30-pin male dock station speaker such as Vehicles with 30pin...".

It's so confusing. I think I'll just buy one or two of them and see if they work. Luckily they're cheap!

If I can get one of them to work, I think I'll get something like the
TaoTronics Bluetooth Car Kit TaoTronics Bluetooth Car Kit
and that way I can have both calling and music streaming cheap and easy while retaining everything in the dash as stock.
