Hi irokdastar, I replaced my spare tire with a full size tire. It fits in the wheel well. Just go to your local salvage yard and size a comparable wheel. I'd suggest 17" x 7.5" with a new 225/45/17 tire. If you're on a different sized rim, just match the front wheel and tire size. I also keep a tire plug kit with a 12VDC air pump and battery clip extension for direct battery connection. A "mini spare" has a very limited life span and speed. If you still have the original mini spare, trash it. It's probably outlived it service life. If the valve stem broke I seriously wouldn't trust the tire. Plus you can use the same lug studs.

I am going to look into that . So the front wheel which are 17" fit in the same location ? and any fitment issue if the rear tire blows ? The spare tire stem is one of those rubber push in ones . I looked online and there like a few dollars for a few . I got a few different things to insure that i don't have a similar issue in the future . But i like you idea .
