I'll keep that in mind! I found the CLK500 that I mentioned and I've also found a CLK55. The 55 doesn't have cooled seats, but it does have keyless go and everything else. I'm curious if it has a power trunk as mine did, but I'm not sure what option puts that on a car.

I have an 04 with the keyless and there is no power trunk .

Oh man, always sorry to see these accidents. That was a beaut! maybe it's time to get a different ride? Good luck on the hunt! Lots of awesome cars these days! Choices!

The buyout option was $2700. I’m a dealer so I just let them take the car for now and I’ll watch it at the salvage auction. The head was busted from the accident and the top wasn’t acting right so I had to manually raise it. Other than the interior I don’t think there was much use for the car or it was too high to be worth keeping.

As I'm sure you know, the insurance company can set a auction reserve, but if bidding does not reach that level, they can accept high bid. I got my CLK for ~ 1k under the reserve @ copart. I can't imagine this going for > $2k at auction, but I'm often wrong, just ask my wife.
