A few more study

I'm studying the cooling capcaity improvement.
(1) Extra coolant tank as shown in another thread.
additional 15L to support (factory coolant ~12L)
the engine cooling, and engaged by a temp. control
valve.
(2) Ceramic coating on headers, cats back .....the whole exhaust.
I talked to engineers (other than car tuning business)
They advice me that's costy and hard to deal with
the odd shaped manifold, instead they recommend another material designed for end users, named Boron nitride sprayer.
$100/bottle , you can coat it yourself or by a skillful painting mechanic.

This's not a good solution for V8 headers, either.

I'll try this end user friendly BN2 sprayer ($100/bottle)
a man-made ceramic coating material,heat resistence up to 1300 C.

Coating intake boxes, bottom of intercooler & headers.

Stay tuned

Shine,

Thanks for the info. Its great to see someone like you doing such great research, and posting them on the board. If i may, exactly what goals do you have with your car. Are you modding engine wise, and doing research to find the most efficent way in increasing HP at low cost, or are you doing all N/A (natural aspiration) to your car. Great info by the way...

Shine - Why did you change your name? Does this mean you've had overheating issues with the kompressor?
