Hello, I am a new member from South Africa and I desperately need some advice. What better place but to find it on MBWorld.

I have just had my Merc serviced and they replaced the front brake pads and discs. They also replaced the stabilizing bars and their joints as the ESP kept on kicking in after the service. I have received it back now and ESP still kicks in every now and again. The vehicle drives perfectly besides this. I will be driving and then all of a sudden the vehicle starts slowing down and even if I push the accelerator, it still slows down. I then have to stop on the side of the road and restart the vehicle. The warning it gives me is ESP Malfunction Visit Workshop. Well, the stabilizing bars were replaced so I do not understand why it is still doing this. Anyone that can give me some advice will be greatly appreciated.

Maybe they messed with the wheel speed sensors or their wiring harnesses? You need to get codes pulled from the ESP/ABS system to see what's going on there.
