I got a Sunday night surprise (😡, I have "9243 - The resistance value in the ignition circuit containing component R12/10 (front passenger side airbag ignition squib) is too high" in my CLK ... I read in another forum (Rudeney) the issue is related to wiring... has anyone experienced this problem or have any advise? THANKS!
This is the squib for the side airbag inside the seat. What I found on mine was that lifting and shoving the seat when using the easy-entry function for accessing the rear seat was causing this. The wire running through the seat was VERY tight so moving it cause it pull loose form where it attaches to the squib. My solution was to manipulate the cable from under the seat to add some slack to it.

SUCCESS! Seems like I had the same problem described by Rudeney (THANKS!). I unplugged & (re)plugged back the squib then changed the attachment point for the harness from A (cutting a nylon tie) to B (using spiral to wrap the harness to the lower bar), to reduce tension when the easy-entry is engaged. 👍 Error code is gone! 😎
