SRS Warning Message
2003 CLK 320
The SRS warning popped up today....Is there any way of determining if this for real or possibly another non associated malfunction? I ask because I spent time attempting to install an after market backup camera which I had to abandon as I had difficulty identifying the correct wires to complete the circuit. In doing this I was checking fuses etc.

If you switch on the ignition with certain components disconnected, such as the upper control panel where the passenger airbag indicator light is located, it will throw an error. You will need a tool that can read and reset codes from MBZ's proprietary system. SDS (MBZ's Star Diagnosis) is best, but there are other simpler. less expensive one like iCarsfot i980 or MBII, or the Autel MD802 Elite.
