Center console and dashboard facelift DIY upgrade for Mercedes CLK W209
Dear forum members,
A friend of mine created a YouTube channel and his first project was to make a detailed step-by-step guide on how to upgrade the dashboard and center console of a pre-facelift w209 to the post-facelift style one. There are several threads about how to do this diy, but they aren't as detailed as his. Therefore, I am linking the first part of the series of videos to this post. The videos do include also how to do the proper wiring of the accessory switches and aftermarket radio on the Mercedes. If you find the content helpful like I did, I am positive that not only will he be grateful if you share his work and like the videos, but also this will motivate him to continue filming other upgrade and repair videos. By the way, if you have any requests for a diy on a particular repair on a CLK 320 (which is what he has), please do let him know in the comments of the video, as he is currently looking into what to film next.
