What size are the brake line bleeder fittings on our cars?
I'm about to make my first attempt at pressure flushing/replacing the brake fluid in my new-to-me CLK500. Would someone be able to tell me what size flare nut wrench(es) I'll need to drain and bleed the system?
I'll need to buy a metric line wrench set and want to be sure it includes the right size(s) to do the job.
Many thanks!

Realizing the risks of talking to myself in a public forum
, but I discovered that my 2006 CLK500 has 9mm bleeders in the rear and 11mm in the front.
I also discovered that 1/4" vinyl tubing won't pass through the opening in a 9mm flare nut wrench. Luckily there is enough room between the nut and the caliper for a 9mm box wrench, so I could loosen and tighten the bleeder with the 6 sided flare and use the box wrench to open and close the bleeder valve.
Maybe I'll try 3/16" tubing in the rear next time I flush the brake fluid.
Cheers!

if you happen to know ID and OD, try searching mcmaster carr, a supply store. they have search engines where ytou can desginate that. i usually look for tygon material part number, and usually on ebay someone will sell it by the foot?
