Anyone wanting UHI for their Car?
I wanted to know how many people are intersted in the UHI kits for the c class and clk class ONLY. UHI=Universal Handy Interface. These cars have harnresses built in them from factory so I can make an adapter to use with UHI. The kit would consist of the PSE, New Floor of Center Console, UHI Clip, Wire Adapter, and Phone Cradle of Choice. So far, there is a Siemens s55 Cradle, Nokia 6310i cradle, Sony Ericsson t610/617/630/637 cradle. v600 should be released any day now. If there are enough people interested I can go ahead and make the adapters for the cable harness. This would mean you can use your existing Harness foro the UHI. Also, Pse would be mounted in OEM location in rear of car. All parts are OEM mercedes benz. Not a hack job.

The dealer can not install this stuff most probably since it is notavailavbe in USA. I should have a kit ready soon but I am probably getting most of the parts from STeve and making the adapter myself.

Phone Kit
At present I have the Nokia 6310! , but wish to replace this with adapter /kit to fit Sonc Ericsson P 900 . It is a real pain using a dual sim card as it doesnt allow full functions on the P900.

Whats the best way to check out which phone controller I have & Ericsson T610 /T630 charger type plugs fit all Ericssons , so this would be okay for my P900 ?

Add me to the exceedingly interested pile of people. 2004 W203S C320 Wagon w/o Command or TeleAid. Local dealer was no help and to get the car style and engine we wanted, we had to settle for less options than desired and buy from out of state dealer. Will be looking for UHI to fit either the Sony/Ericsson 637 or the new K700, my wife hasn't yet made up her mind. For your info our VIN is WDBRH64J94F537926.
I think I know all I need to RE self install of the UHI Kits, sure makes a lot more sense than the Motorola Hardware, but I have heard I don't need to worry about installing a phone antenna anywhere because two hidden ones are already installed in the back bumper -- just waiting for the phone installation.
I have heard the cable is in place, but I just can't believe antenna(s) are too. Can you give me a definitive answer to put my mind at ease?
