Oil burning or leaking.
I have an 05 ckl500. It is losing oil every oil change cycle and there is no leaks anywhere. Does anyone know where it is going and is it a problem?

If there is no visible oil leak, the oil is either going up between piston rings and sleve, and getting burned, or down into intake/exhaust between guides and valve stems. There is a valve stem seal that tends to get hard with years, and let oil pass.
You can easy determine if it is the piston rings. Have a compression test made. Compression should be above 165 PSI on all cylinders. You can also try pour in a bottle of oil seal reconditioner, that will make all seals, soft and tight again, and even loosen piston rings if they are stuck in carbon deposits. Allow it some 2-3000 miles to take effect.

What is the rate of oil consumption? I do maintenance on 5 MB's with the 113 series engine (500) they all use some oil, but run very well.
Family has 3 112 series engines (320) and they almost never use any oil.
