CLK A209 - 2003 - Hydraulic pump pressure relief screw
Hello everyone.
I had a leakage on the top cylinder, and dismounted it.
After this I wanted to manually close the top and did everything like said in the manual. But my rear hyd cylinders are the ones without the relief valves on them, so they are very very hard to open even with no pressure. Because I did not know this, I thought the top was not moving because I did not unscrew enough the relief valve on the pump, so I tried several times to unscrew it more and more until I unscrewed it completely. (((
Now the question is: how can I screw the pressure relief valve back? Because I try to insert it back, but it is not entering completely and I can't catch the thread to screw it back.
Is there some other valve on the other side of the pump that I should remove first?
Thanks.

There is a good chance that there is a rubber grommet (or washer or whatever) that just kinked and preventing you from screwing the screw

hope a late feedback is also ok.
went to a Mercedes dealer and in 5 minutes he screwed the pressure relief screw in. It was just my inexperience and fear to brake something.
No rubber, no washer or whatever.
