Clunking sound after new rear shocks on CLK

Just got some new shocks installed MB OEM from pelican parts my car is a CLk350 NON-sport package, and the shocks I got are the sport package shocks, because they're sport package they shouldn't be making this much noise right? For example if I go fast or slow over bumps it makes no noise but when I go medium speeds over bumps in clunks, the ride feels fine and definitely handles a little better (the rear doesn't lean as much) but could there be something else that's causing this noise?

Black 2004 CLK (w209) 320 Cabrio auto transm. "Elegance" trim; <br /> 2014 A180 black man.
"Clunk" is definitely not BM standard nor is it part of shock operations. Perhaps those who installed the shocks should double check is everything is tight, if nothing was "forgotten", a loose bolt, forgotten wrench, unsecured exhaust...

Loose bolts for sure. Have them double check everything.

Actually the ride is much worse as well, but I got Bilstein shocks from pelican parts I don't understand how the ride could be this bad... This is the shock I bought

Is your clk is a cabriolet? If yes then you have crossbars (torsion braces) that may have been loosened during the shock install. Torsion braces are metal bars that connect the rear and sides of the vehicle. The braces need to be reinstalled using new application of blue loctite. I had the same clunking noise after installation of rear springs & installer did not use loctite. After a few days car was making clunking sound. Installer removed the old loctite & applied new layer of blue loctite. 2 years later no issues

I would a. take out the rear carpet and have a look at the mounts. B. get under the car and look for loose bolts and C. if you cant figure it out take some pictures of A and B and post them here.
