2004 clk radio upgrade
I have a 2004 clk radio that doesn't have a cd player. I want to add a cd player or Bluetooth but don't want an expensive model.
My questions are how hard is it to remove the radio.
do I have to take the whole console apart.
also any suggestions which is the easiest way.
thanks jimbo

I just picked up a 2006 CLK500, I was wondering about a radio swap for the same reason. I do know however that you can pick up a Bluetooth device that connects to the existing system through radio frequency. I know it's not a real fix for the out of date radio, but as a temporary solution it's not half bad.

It really depends if you have have a bose or harmon radio . They have a kit for the harmon that can read the optical sensors allowing you to add a new radio and keep your stock amp and speaker .
