Our first CLK500 is coming!
Hello,
I sell MB in PA and we have a 2003 CLK500 on our "in production" report. It is scheduled for mid-June production and should be here by the end of July. It is Obsidian black w/ charcoal, K3,K4,COMAND and hot seats. I can't wait to see it.

Becker or Bose Command?
Can you tell from the specs if the CLK is starting out with the new Becker DVD based Command system or is it going to face a switch over mid year like the 2003 SL from the present CD based Bose Command system to the upgraded DVD based unit that Becker is reportedly preparing?

I cannot tell from the order codes if the COMAND is the DVD system. Probably not, the option code (352) is the same as the current system.

We have no pricing yet. If I look it up on "netstar", our internal website for locating and ordering cars the price comes up on that car as $777,777 (not a typo). That is MBs way of telling us not to worry about the price and keep selling the cars we have in stock.

I believe the W208 Cabs will be produced until at least December. I'm guessing the earliest you will see the W209 Cab will be the Spring, or more realistically the Summer.

New (W209) CLK Cabriolets and new "E" Wagons and 4matics as usual will be out about a year after this falls intro of the new models. Don't expect a new CLK Cab untill late next year.
We are still back-ordered on the current CLK Cabs. If you want a W209 Cab get your order in now for late 2003 or spring 2004 delivery!
