Paddle shifters loose

My 2007 CLK350 has the black plastic paddle shifters on the back of the steering wheel. They are each a little loose and rattle a bit. They work fine, but I'd like to tighten them up or perhaps replace them. Anyone done either? Help much appreciated.

Funny enough I am here for this exact reason and I am struggling to find any answers browsing the web 😭
Did you perhaps figure it out?

Not really. I found a supplier that sells the longer silver aluminium ones from the I think the CLK63 and they are apparently a straight swap - but I don't really fancy those. I'm also worried about causing some sort of glitch with the SRS airbag and computer when dismantling to attempt a replacement or a DIY retightening - and I couldn't find the instructions for removal in the WIS - so I've sort of given up for a bit. I'll probably price some genuine MB replacements and if the shock doesn't kill me then have a go at that point. If you have a go yourself I'd be really glad to hear how it went.
