Clk radio white noise
Good evening,
I wonder if someone can please help?
I have recently removed the radio from my 2004 w209 cabriolet to get behind the dash at the stepper motors. On reconnecting the radio it’s like there is no aerial connected (even though it is). The CD player works fine but the radio is only producing “white noise”. I know this would point to it not being reconnected correctly but I’ve checked all of the connections again and cannot see that I have missed any connections out. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this or could I have done something stupid when reconnecting? Any help appreciated as this one has me puzzled.

There is a wire on the radio harness that powers the signal amplifier for the radio . Check if its getting power . If I a not mistaken its a blue wire . But look up pin outs for the harness .

I posted pictures of the wiring harness and pin outs for my 2004 CLK500 in my old radio thread; below is a link to the specific post with that information but you should review the entire thread since it has other info like wiring diagrams.
