CLK 320 roof not functioning

CLK 320 roof not functioning
Hey just joined this thread.
I have a 2005 clk320 but haven’t used the roof much. I tried opening the roof a year ago and it stopped half way. Manually closed it. I now have the time to repair it. It won’t open, all windows will go down, the roof opening image comes up, no flashing of the button, there’s an initiation with the cars revs dropping and lights dimming however no roof motor initiation. I’ve checked:
all switches and sensors, repaired 2 in the rear - working
checked 2 relays - working
checked for hydraulic leak - none
so now I’m stuck and have no idea what to do or look for next?
if anyone can advise me on what my next strategy should be, it’ll be much appreciated.

Try watching this video. His videos helped me get mine solved. Your top is opening half way, you definitely got a microswitch problem. His video shows locations and different scenarios. I too replaced switches but mine was a combination of a broken connector at one of the switches I replaced and the partition shocks.
