2005 320CLK Replacing Cup Holder
Wife broke it, I have to replace it. New one came today. What better to do on a Memorial day weekend with Corona restrictions in place?
I've seen where the center console comes out & the glove box comes out.
Anybody have links to that process?
I thought I had one when I replaced the radio face, but I can't seem to find it.
Thanks in advance.

I found the factory installation docs on-line. It's no lie, there's lots of disassembly here for a lousy cup holder.
The front control panel (radio, climate, etc), the glove box, the foot well. All out.
watch this video for the hidden screw
and one of the toughest jobs? getting the darn cup holder slider out of the dash piece. Looks like one screw, right? no.
you need to slide to plastic knives (or such) into the sides to press in tabs then it pushes into the dash molding.
If anybody needs new curse words, I have them. Now to re-assemble the whole thing.
