Central Gateway Controller (GWC/ZGW) Location n 2005 CLK Conv A209
Hello,
I have a 2005 CLK500 that has developed a few issues of late and I am working to try and figure out if it is the Engine Control Module or Gateway Control Module. I know where the ECM is but the Gateway is hiding. any one know?
what is happening, if you you enjoy reading my woes, Started with Display malfunction message, then the other day ABS, Break wear and Check engine (getting the ODB2 hooked up soon (friend borrowed, need i say more) and it will not move out of park. I can get it into gear with the manual override in the center console. It drives fine and the visual inspection of brakes there is a lot of life there (i did not pull off to see the sensor yet), Because it drives fine right now, I am suspecting the central gateway but i can not find the little guy.
