Engine swap check
Hello guys.. This is my first thread and I'll be very active to read all these informative notes from everyone around and I'll be glad to help as well as I gained some tips from my own experience with having a pretty mint w209 2004 so the issue here is that...
I swapped the engine of a clk 200 compressor 2004 to 2008 and as I read the 04 is 163 hp when the 08 is 184..did I gain those 20 hp or do I have to remap or replace the ecu?
Also I've been checking these chips on Google that will let me gain and balance the a/f ratio and gain much power any idea?

That is interesting question, my bet is that the difference is in supercharger pulleys (diameter). I think, but not 100% sure, that for later clk200 Mercedes was using an engine similar to c230 engine instead of c200.
They both m271 engines and technically identical except different supercharger pulleys (c230 has higher boost pressure).
If you have an access to both engines (new and old) try to measure pulley diameters. Since the difference between boost pressures is small they even use the same fuel injectors.
