Clk 200 cabriolet

Cabriolet roof

looking for advice.
I have a 2008 clk200 the roof stopped working halfway through the cycle which has locked the trunk is there another way to operate manually or some way to get into the trunk

Happened to me. After a while, hydraulic pressure will drop, and so will the top (just be careful not to have anything like a finger or a wrist inside the mechanism). You can fold it back into the trunk (the easiest). You can then close the trunk with some muscle power to allow unlocking it normally. Then you can start troubleshooting.

Start with the yellow relays located by the hydraulic pump hidden on the left side of the boot. You can check out my post:

Same thing here. If you don’t hear the pump whirring, the two solenoids are the most likely culprit. Most MBZ dealers have them in stock and are not expensive.
