Hey Guys.

Any tips on getting the alignment correct between the window trip and side mirror assembly. I had to remove mine to and now on reassembly I cannot get it to sit flush.

Almost as if it’s hitting something but there’s nothing there but a rubber

The 3 screws mount fine but it seems the plastic has a gap somehow. Almost as if something need to clip in first.

 

So ended up being the mounting frame in the car that was bent slightly outward
