Leak in engine bay

I think I have a leak near coolant reservoir.

I had a service at my local Merc dealer, Isaac Agnew, part of the Sytner group, last week. Today the coolent level warning light came on. I checked the reservoir and noticed the screw top wasn't very tight? The coolent was about one third from the bottom. I just put 2 litres of antifreeze in and while i was doing it noticed fluid around the object immediately in front of the coolent tank?

Any ideas please?

I would just clean things up and monitor it for a few days. It may be that the service tech did not crew the cap on tightly, into detent. If the reservoir is cracked it of course will leak and you will be able to easily locate the leak. BTW if there was coolant on top of the reservoir then it is more likely the problem was a loose cap.
