front turn signal problems

OK. so i am still learning alot about this 500. but i ran into a problem . i went for a brake light inspection on the car and was told that the front turn signals do not work. i decided to check out the head lamp assembly and noticed that the connector thats for the blinkers, do not have a plug in wiring like the low beams, high beams and parking lights. i googled online as well but when they replace the bulb, it also shows that its just a "turn in, turn out" application. with that said, im assuming that the connection points to trigger the light to work are within the housing since it doesnt require plug in wiring. so im curious as the lights are not blinking at all? side mirrors work just fine. Is there an plug that plugs into the headlight housing somewhere that i may not not plugged in? The bulbs look fine. the filaments are in tack.
