Has anybody experienced or have the same problem as I have with the Climate Control . When the car is started there is a very strange smell [Melted Leather sort of Stink] for about 10 seconds this then goes away ! Does the Air Con Unit need servicing or filter change etc.

There is a service advisory about this for 2003 CLK's, the problem is the condensation drain pan is not angled back properly which causes the smell. Go to your dealer they should be able to get info on this.
