Hello There I just purchased a 2009 CLK 550 with 50,000 miles. It has 2 flashing lights accompanied by audible chirps on both sides of the gauge cluster that I cannot figure out what they are. Any help would be appreciated. I’m sure it’s something simple but I cannot find anything in the owner’s manual.

It wouldn't happen to be the green blinking arrows

indicating the 4 ways / hazard lights are on?
I can't think of what else would make noise, seat belt indicator? Key left in ignition?

You should probably specify the color of the lights, and under what conditions ( key in or out, engine running, car locked, etc.) do they light up. That would help the diagnostic...

The lights are red and they come on at start up and appear to go through an check process and then flash at random times while driving or sitting still with the engine running always accompanied with chirps. The previous owner said it was a factory radar detector but I don’t think that’s it.

Red lights,engine running comes on at random times while driving. These lights are not actually in the dash where all the other info lights are .they are on the sides kinda in the trim around the gauges. The left side is same location as the reset button is.
