2006 clk 350 convertible
2006 clk350 key not detected
I have 2006 clk350 convertible when I hit the brake to use start stop button it shows on dashboard key is not detected. But cars starts if I use and turn key ignition. Was gonna change key fob battery but it locks and locks car from over a hundred feet away. I took apart shifter thinking one of the two brass pins were broken or twisted but there fine. Anyone have any ideas what I should do or try next?
