Warning Lights
I am new to the forum, I owned a 1998 E430 for 15 years...then gave it to my son....owned a 2004 CLK500 for seven years and gave it my my son.
I then was in the market for a newer model, but found a 2004 CLK with 10k miles like new. I have had it for a month and everything was perfect until I installed a new radio. I have the basic stock radio with fiberoptic.
Now every warning light is on - fuel, temp, ABS, brakes, ect.
Any experience with this??

Hi friend,
You've wandered into the wrong parts and will probably get more help here: https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class-w209-43/
Perhaps @Wolfman or @speedlimit can move this thread over for you.
(I would just run through the radio install again, ensure its a compatible radio, or even put the old one in and see if your warnings go away)

Thanks for your help CarHopper. I should mention that eveything was working fine after the radio installed. I drove the car 5 times afterwards with no incident. The warning light issue appeared last night.

There are two pssible suspects: the battery (these cars do all sorts of weird things when the battery is not perfect), and connections to the CAN bus.
A "radio install" is something that covers a multitude of possible situations, on a CLK. You have to give us mauch more information about what exactly was done: make and model of radio (both the original and the new one), how was it connected, to what, and where were the connections made on the car. Focus on the CAN bus connections, and power connections, including ground.
With that, someone may be able to help further. And, CarHopper is right: retrace your actions when swapping the radios, and you will likely find the issue. Unless it's the battery...but that's easy to check.
